An investigation of the boundaries between artificial and non-artificial is a major theme in his work. What would \u2018reality\u2019 mean to an artificial being, such as a robot or a puppet, or to a virtual being, such as a manga character? Does imitation of imitation begin to approach reality? In <em>Simulations<\/em> Jonsson shows us the surprising forms reality can assume, after it has been replicated in a virtual world and then turned back into reality on stage.
