For <em>D&#8217;un \nPays Lointain<\/em> No\u00e9 takes the balletpantomime as a starting point. As a \nmovement language highly affected by the logic of spoken word, today, \npantomime is one of the aspects of ballet that appears most outdated. \nBut precisely this tension between movement and language, between \nconvention and imitation, offers the potential to readdress the \nprocesses by which we assign meaning to the world around us. By slightly\n distrubing the inner codes of the pantomime, the body can become a \nsource of multiple messages, completing, contradicting or transforming \neach other.
