For this performance he takes his inspiration from Tik Tak (an iconic Belgian tv program for todlers), geometry en the essay <em>\u2018The first man was an artist\u2019<\/em> by expressionist Barnett Newman. That mix yields the leitmotiv that puts everything into motion: The desire to be a line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>First<\/em> starts off from the idea that we, human beings, are ourselves the creators of the reality we live in. <em>First<\/em> is a pamphlet, an ode to beginning, danced by the first man, for the last man: <em>\u2018I still feel we are in a prelude of history. Or again at the prelude. What matters is the beginning.
