Ze is gefascineerd door het idee dat rituelen zoals hekserij en animisme (het concept waarbij ook stenen, planten of andere natuurlijke fenomenen een ziel hebben) een diep respect hebben voor de natuur en zichzelf als een onderdeel van die natuur beschouwen. Ze vindt dat we hoogdringend ons gedrag en onze blik tegenover het milieu moeten wijzigen, zeker nu de klimaatcrisis ons op de hielen zit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d3marsd\u00f3ttir onderzoekt of en hoe antropomorfe praktijken (waarbij menselijke eigenschappen toegeschreven worden aan dieren, planten of objecten) hun eigen omgeving kunnen be\u00efnvloeden. Ze bouwt daarvoor een decor dat verwijst naar uiteenlopende landschappen. Aan de hand van rituelen probeert ze het decor te \u2018veranderen\u2019.
