De titel van de voorstelling is ontleend aan een album van Sonic Youth. EVOL is LOVE achterstevoren geschreven en het is een afkorting van \u2018evolutie\u2019. Zowel liefde als evolutie zijn begrippen die belangrijk zijn voor deze creatie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Claire Croiz\u00e9s creaties besteden veel aandacht aan de bewegingen van de dansers. Sinds de voorstelling <em>Primitive<\/em> uit 2014 focust Croiz\u00e9 nog meer op de leesbaarheid van de bewegingen, om zo steeds beter haar gevoelens en gevoeligheden uit te drukken. Maar altijd heeft ze aandacht voor de kijker, die zijn eigen interpretaties kan blijven geven aan de bewegingen, en zijn eigen verbeelding kan blijven gebruiken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Croiz\u00e9s werk bouwt steeds verder op de ervaringen en resultaten van de vorige productie. Haar werk staat niet stil, maar evolueert voortdurend. Haar creatieproces is ge\u00ebvolueerd naar een situatie waarbij ze geen nood meer heeft aan een externe muzikale bron tijdens het creatieproces, maar vertrekt vanuit de stilte.
